Record Plane Dates

There have been 95 planes produced under the "Record" brand from 1931 to the present day (this is inclusive of each model variation such as "Stay Set" and "corrugated" models). The vast majority of the tools have ceased being manufactured. The "Record" brand is now owned by "Irwin Industrial Tool Company". The chart below lists the production dates of each Record plane model.

All of the Record manufacture dates shown in the chart above have been found and verified by using Record Tool catalogues and price lists, and further verified by checking using retailer tool catalogues. The one exception to this is, dates which state the 'last production' as 1943. We do not have the 1943 price list which says the models which were 'out of production', we do have the 1949 price list which says the models which were 'out of production'. The 1943 'last produced' dates are based upon the information shown on the website by David Lynch.
